  • Nominations are welcome at any time in the three categories listed below.

  • Nominations are retained on file in perpetuity.

  • Updates to previously submitted nominations are encouraged, especially for contact details. Send an email to: mcintoshhalloffame@gmail.com with the Nominee's name and "Hall of Fame Nomination Update" in the subject line and then include any updates and your contact information in the body of the email.

  • Selections for the next class of Hall of Fame inductees are typically made in the late spring-early summer timeframe.

  • ATHLETE NOMINATION CRITERIA: Nominations for Athletic Accomplishment are Athletes, Coaches, Athletic Directors or Administrators who contributed to MHS through outstanding achievements and excellence in one or more athletic programs and/or made significant long-term contributions to MHS.

  • Nominees must be at least five (5) years post-graduation from McIntosh HS.

  • Nominees are evaluated on the body of their athletic achievements.

  • Nominees who were Athletes should have lettered for at least two years in a varsity sport. They may have also been an individual state champion, played on a state championship team, or played competitive athletics at the collegiate level, and/or national/international/professional level.

  • Nominees who were Coaches, Athletic Directors, or Administrators must have been a Coach, Athletic Director, or Administrator at MHS for at least (5) five years and have established a record of outstanding achievement in interscholastic athletics. They must have made contributions to the MHS athletics program of an unusual nature not covered by other provisions for consideration. They may be retired from their field or still active, however they are not eligible while still serving as a Coach, Athletic Director, or Administrator at MHS.

  • DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI CRITERIA: Nominees for Distinguished Alumni include MHS alumni or longtime faculty members. Nominees must be at least five (5) years since graduating from MHS. Longtime faculty members must have been at MHS for at least 15 consecutive years and at least five (5) years since retiring, leaving employment from McIntosh HS. 

  • Nominees must have made significant and outstanding contributions to the school, community, the state and/or the nation. Achievements may be accomplished by singular acts or lifelong contributions.

  • COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS NOMINATION CRITERIA: Nominees for Community Champion are businesses that have been longtime (at least 15 consecutive years) supporters who significantly contributed to and positively impacted McIntosh High School.

  • INCOMPLETE NOMINATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
